BKSA Gwithian Wave Masters

The BKSA wave masters arrived at Gwithian this weekend and I had the job of photographing the event, the conditions weren't all time with small waves and inconsistent wind. But the event ran on a beautiful sunny day with all classes run completed, it was nice to see the Cornish men come in on top in both the pro men and the seniors classes with easy wins for Lee Harvey and also Peter Stephens.

The autumn swells have seemed to have kicked in down in Cornwall but luckily there's still been plenty of sun as well. I spent Sunday afternoon at Gwithian shooting the windsurfing and kite surfing the light and the waves were there but on this day this wind was a bit on and off and slightly to off shore for everyone to make the most of the conditions. That said there were plenty of waves on offer for anyone who was patient enough to hang around and make the effort to get out back. It was great to be back down the beach after a long summer of shooting weddings it was great to get out and photograph some sports.
